How to turn on Logging in Notate for Windows

Last Updated: Apr 16, 2019 12:34PM CDT
Enabling logging for Notate for Windows must be done by running the installer from the command-line with the parameter ALLOW_LOGGING=TRUE.  Alternately, for advanced users/admins, you can edit the app's registry setting for logging here:

For Windows x64:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ShaferSystems]
"AllowLogging"=dword:00000001

For Windows x32:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ShaferSystems]
"AllowLogging"=dword:00000001

Restart Notate after setting the logging parameter.  After enabling logging in Notate, you can find the resultant log files here:  C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\ShaferSystems\NotateWindows\Notate.Log.txt
